George has outright refused to shave his moustache! He says he likes it because he’s had it since he was a lad starting out in banking and it helped to make him who he is today. I said he would still be assistant bank manager without it but he won’t budge on the subject!
My new jewellery from H Samuel arrived today, the Hollywood fashion stuff. I wore it when I went town with Betty. She was green with envy I could tell. I caught her glancing at my brooch a few times. She says I’m so lucky to have such nice things.
